📢 Announcement
Associate to Campaigns in Workflows
Announced last week, you can now associate contacts, deals, and tickets to campaigns as a workflow action.
The applications here are endless. Records that meet a certain criteria may be associated to a campaign automatically.
This should help with attribution and campaign data hygeine.

✅ Tip
Quick fix for a common HubSpot headache.
Edit the Highlight Card to Save Your Team Clicks
As an admin, you probably get complaints like, "I have to scroll too far to find the Deal Amount" or "Where is the Close Date?" You can solve this in 60 seconds.
The Fix: Go to Settings > Objects > [Selected Object] > Record Customization. Click "Choose properties for highlight card." You can pick the top 4 properties that appear in the header of every record.
Put the most-used data points here (like Deal Amount, Lead Status, or Phone Number) so your team never has to scroll the left sidebar again.

⚠️ Trap
Mistake to avoid before it causes chaos.
The "Super Admin for Everyone" Security Hole
When a new team member joins, it’s tempting to just toggle the "Super Admin" switch to "make sure they have everything they need."
Don't do it.
The Risk: Super Admins can delete entire pipelines, export your entire database, and change billing settings. Even with the best intentions, a beginner user can accidentally "Reset" a property or delete a workflow that powers your entire lead flow.
The Prevention: Use Permission Sets. Create a "Standard User" or "Sales Manager" set that gives them access to their records but locks down "Account Settings" and "Property Settings." If they need a specific tool, grant it individually. Security starts with the "Principle of Least Privilege."

🔄 Try
Something small to test or improve this week.
Build a "Data Hygiene" Dashboard
You can’t fix what you can't see. This week, try building a simple dashboard to spot incomplete records before they mess up your reporting.
Create a new dashboard and add 3 "Single Object" reports with these filters:
Missing Lead Source: Contacts where "Original Source" is unknown.
The "Ghost" Contacts: Contacts with no "Owner" assigned.
Stale Leads: Contacts created >90 days ago with "Last Activity Date" is unknown.
Checking this once a week helps you stay ahead of the "mess" and keeps your portal clean enough for your boss to actually trust the reports you send.
